On this typical roof, how do you attach a gutter?

It all starts with an idea, and not necessarily a good one! The problem was to find a simple way to attach a rain gutter to the lip of a corrugated metal roof. On the road to discovery we ruined jumper cables, cut up sheets of metal roofing, tied wires, drilled holes and broke lots of stuff.
V 2.0
We eventually arrived on a hanger using injection molding and thermoplastics. It can be mass produced and will be inexpensive to buy. Eliminating the need for imported materials was a primary consideration from day one and facilities capable of this type of manufacturing and production already operate in many countries in Africa.

In order to accommodate a variety of roof angles and gutter slopes, version 3 is made up of three pieces with grooved bolt connections. Like V 2.0, the clip still slides on the roof, but the installer can easily make adjustments to accommodate various roofs and gutter slopes to fit a rectangular gutter.
